Dear Members and Friends,

After two fantastic and well-attended Round Tables abroad, the next journey takes us to Belgrade on 7 November before rounding up the year with a final Round Table in Prague on 13 December.

You should not miss the opportunity to join us in Belgrade: Serbia has been recently nicknamed the “workbench” of Europe. Reforms and political stability have attracted large new investments. Numerous – also Austrian companies – are moving their production to Serbia. We should not miss this trend to promote an efficient dispute resolution mechanism “next door” instead of going far away to resolve disputes originating in Serbia. Be part of these trends and participate in our Round Table under the motto REGIONAL – why regional arbitration support promotes effective dispute resolution. Continue reading for details and logistics.

Besides Belgrade several other exciting YAAP co-organized events are waiting for you this month. Already next week the VIAC/YAAP Master Class on cross-examination with prominent London-based practitioner Franz Schwarz and the second GAR Live Vienna with fantastic speakers in a unique event format.

Last but not least, we are looking for a new Advisory Board Member who will bring diverse, fresh and innovative ideas to our activities. Please submit your application by 5 November 2018 and join us in shaping the future of YAAP!

Enjoy reading and see you at one of the upcoming YAAP events!

Best regards,
Patrizia and Filip
