We hope you had a great start into the new year and wish you a successful 2022.
This year brings about some changes for the YAAP Advisory Board. As many of you will have read, Niamh Leinwather has been appointed as Secretary General of VIAC and we want to take this opportunity to congratulate her on her new role! While Niamh will remain a YAAP Advisory Board member, she has handed over her role as Co-Chair to Anna Förstel-Cherng. Anna will thus be working side by side with Ulrich Kopetzki as Co-Chair in 2022 and 2023.

UPCOMING: AWAK-Seminar – Arbitration: 11-12 March 2022
We are proud that YAAP was a driving force, jointly with VIAC and ArbAUT, of the first-ever "AWAK Grundlagenseminar Schiedsverfahren".
The seminar aims at familiarizing Austrian attorneys - both seasoned general practitioners as well as young arbitration lawyers - with the exotic realm of arbitral dispute resolution. The lecturers of the next seminar in March 2022 are Lisa Beisteiner, Wolfgang Hahnkamper, Philipp Peters, Katharina Plavec, Elisabeth Vanas-Metzler, as well as Irene Welser.
