the University of Vienna and the Austrian Arbitration Association (Arb|Aut) cordially invite you to the 12th Bergsten Lecture which annually takes place during the Vis Moot finals. It is held in honour of Professor Eric Bergsten, the founding-father of the Vis Moot back in 1994, who sadly passed away last year.

This year's lecture will be given by Patricia Louise Shaughnessy (fully tenured associate Professor at Stockholm University, Law Department and President of the Vis Moot Association) who will discuss the topic of:

“Arbitration and the Rule of Law: delivering justice in a consent-based, private process"
