Dear Members and Friends,
Next Friday, 25 February 2022, the Vienna Arbitration Days 2022 will take place remotely via the platform Remo from 9 am – 1 pm. The conference will start with a keynote speech, followed by a number of short kick-off presentations (
click here for the full program on the conference website). Afterwards, the traditional World Café will be held. More than 500 participants have already registered!
As it is difficult to estimate how many people will actually participate, we are addressing you with a last-minute
request for support in connection with the organization of the
World Café. The World Café will be divided into two sessions (à 40 minutes, starting at 11 am) and consists of a number of virtual World Café tables (8 persons per table). Each World Café table should have at least one moderator. Depending on the actual number of participants, we may require additional moderators on short notice (“Emergency Moderators”). Emergency Moderators will be assigned to a topic of their choice (related to the topics of the kick-off presentations - see the conference website for further details).
In case you would be available to act as Emergency Moderator for a World Café table, please send an email to
veronika.macha@viac.eu, indicating also your preferred topic. Given the nature of such an “emergency” appointment, we ask you to respond quickly by
Monday, 22 February 2022.
All Emergency Moderators will be listed on the conference website with their CV. If you are available to act as Emergency Moderator, please send us your CV in the following format:
- NAME
- FIRM
- PHOTO
- SHORT BIO (100-120 words)
On
Thursday, 24 February 2022, at 5 pm, there will be a virtual speakers get-together where all speakers will have the opportunity to test the platform Remo and exchange ideas.
