YAAP Roundtable – "Confidentiality in International Arbitration: Implications of the Austrian Freedom of Information Act"

Join us for our next YAAP Roundtable with Sophie Wotschke and Benjamin Weber, Associates at KNOETZL (Vienna), who will discuss the topic of confidentiality in international arbitration. Confidentiality is often described as one of the main advantages of international arbitration. However, there are many uncertainties surrounding confidentiality as well as an increasing trend towards transparency. The recently adopted Austrian Freedom of Information Act will bring further changes that will be discussed during the roundtable.

15 April 2024: YAAP Roundtable: "Your First Arbitration: Insights from an Arbitrator and the Role of the Tribunal Secretary"

A big thank you to Peter Rižnik, Arbitrator in Independent Practice at Rižnik Disputes (Vienna), for speaking at our last YAAP Roundtable in April. Peter shared valuable insights into his work as an arbitrator and gave helpful tips for serving as secretary to arbitral tribunals. We are very pleased that the roundtable was so well attended by many new and old familiar YAAP members. We stayed together until late in the evening to catch up. Many thanks to Peter and all participants for a great evening!
