The Congress will be followed by a Gala Dinner in the magnificent Augustinian Reading Room of the Austrian National Library. II: AWAK-Seminar – Arbitration: 8 and 9 May 2026
This seminar is designed to provide Austrian attorneys – both experienced general practitioners and emerging arbitration practitioners – with a solid understanding of the fundamentals and practical dynamics of arbitral dispute resolution. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to conclude the program by engaging in a mock arbitration exercise, during which they will simulate a case management conference at the outset of an arbitral proceeding. The seminar on 8-9 May 2026 will be delivered by a distinguished panel of lecturers: Elisabeth Vanas-Metzler, Lisa Beisteiner-Matz, Ulrich Kopetzki, Nikolaus Pitkowitz, Katharina Plavec, and Irene Welser.
