Dear YAAP Members and Friends,

As 2025 draws to a close, we wish you a joyful holiday season and all the best for a successful and fulfilling New Year!

This past year has been one of positive change and renewed engagement. One of the key developments in 2025 was the restructuring of our YAAP Roundtables – moving from Café Korb to in-house lunch sessions hosted by our friends in arbitral practice. This new format has been well received and has created fresh opportunities for dialogue and exchange in a more focused setting. Stay tuned for more exciting updates in 2026!

We are also pleased to share a few changes within the YAAP Board:
  • Since January 2025, Nicolas Zenz has joined the YAAP Advisory Board as its newest member, following the departure of Yoanna Schuch, who stepped down at the end of 2024. We thank Yoanna for her valuable service and warmly welcome Nicolas to the team.
  • Markus Beham will step down as Co-Chair at the end of 2026, after two years of service in this role. We are delighted to announce that Sonja Otenhajmer will join Stephanie Rohmann as Co-Chair in 2026, continuing to bring energy and vision to our growing community.

We look forward to another vibrant year ahead – with thought-provoking conferences, dynamic roundtables, and plenty of opportunities to connect, learn, and grow together. We hope to see many of you at the following upcoming events:
