We are proud that YAAP was a driving force, jointly with VIAc and ArbAUT, of the first-ever "AWAK Grundlagenseminar Schiedsverfahren". The seminar aims at familiarizing Austrian attorneys - both seasoned general practitioners as well as young arbitration lawyers - with the exotic realm of arbitral dispute resolution. One of the drivers for its launch was a desire to promote domestic arbitration and to push Vienna as an arbitral venue The lectureres of the first edition in November 2020 include Wolfgang Hahnkamper, Philipp Peters, Katharina Plavec, Elisabeth Vanas-Metzler, Irene Welser, as well as our Lisa Beisteiner.
